Silver Linings from the Heart

Seeing how long it has been since posting, makes me a bit sad, but sometimes we don't have a great deal of control over one's more pleasurable activities.  Many happenings in our home....a daughter, husband and two loved dogs have come to live with us for the summer. Our first born granddaughter has graduated from high school and a trip to her graduation was a renewal of family bonds and love.
We visited the cemeteries where our parent are laid to rest.  We have celebrated birthdays.  And we have moved load after load of items to charitable causes to make room for our summer family.  Yes, it has been good. Yes, it has been busy.  Yes, we wouldn't have it any other way.

This week is  Photo Heart Connection hosted by Kat Sloma.  Choosing a photo to represent all that has taken place these last months is truly impossible.  But my camera wasn't in full retirement: here are a few photos to share that touch my heart.

  5. Sharon, I love your silver-lined clouds! My granddaughter is graduating from high school this summer, too. (How can that be possible?) And my daughter is going to be living with me for the first time since she left home for college...I won't tell you how many years ago! Many changes, but it will all be good. Enjoy your summer and your family!
